My almost daily crafty/sewing blog where I show and tell the things I have made and a little bit of what is happening in my life. I am a hoarder - of inspiration images, fabric, patterns, and crafting books. I live in Australia and I'm a work at home mum to three great kids. My indie boutique is at www.redinstead.com.au where you can see the things I make.

I saw photos of this project at flickr -- I love it. I've been thinking about including something like this in a memory/comfort project I want to make for friends so it's great to see how someone else has approached some of the things I was contemplating (converting a photo to something approaching a line drawing and then using it as a basis for embroidery). I don't have any suggestions right now though as it's still one of those ideas waiting for me to have some time to concentrate on for a while.
