Win Tall Poppy Bag Handles!

written by Jen on Tuesday, March 28, 200616 Comments

Thanks to the lovely (and patient) Sarah at Tall Poppy, I have some great bag handles to give away today.

Tall Poppy Craft has a great range of bag hardware, including handles, magnetic clasps and bag patterns and Sarah sent me a few samples of their handles to give away on my blog so here you are…

Tall Poppy Handles

All you have to do to win one (a pair actually) of these handles is to leave me a comment on my blog. Come on lurkers, here is your chance! I would love to hear from more of my visitors so please make a connection and maybe even win yourself one of these great handles to make yourself a new bag. Couldn’t be easier.

I will choose three lucky winners to be announced tomorrow so hop to it!

Hi there - just delurking to say that I really enjoy reading your blog, even though I haven’t made it known until now. I’ve just started my own, and it’s inspiring to see how you approach yours - your entries, pictures, tutorials are really great to see. I really enjoy your work - thanks for a good blog, some good inspiration, and for sharing with us.

Thanks for your list of Aussie crafters - it is very comprehensive and great to so many gals out there, raising the flag for creative stitching down under! I am yet to work my way through all of them, but there is plenty of inspiration out there.

    kew³l handles, indeed!
maybe i should e-mail them to get some samples, too? *grin*
though i think it wouldn´t be crowned by success… ;)

handles are rather expensive here in germany, so i use them rarely on my bags (but i love bags with handles, i shop too much!). i sewed some, you can see them here in my galery. at this time it´s german only, but if you scroll down a little bit in the left frame, you´ll find my bags. :)

Hi I just called in after seeing you mentioned in the Tall Poppy newsletter.
I have been quilting for a few years now but it was about 2 years ago I decided to make myself a bag from scratch. Nothing beats walking around with something that you have made. I have included a link to a bag I made Dec 2005 for someone who requested one while I was shopping.

I’m with Katrin when she says handles are too expensive but I am glad we have Tall Poppy. I finally ordered some from her 2 months ago and have yet to make those bags! :)

    Hi Jen,
Not really after the handles, just wanted to say hello as a fellow home based bag maker! I’ve lurked for a little while, and have only just this week started my own blog. Your info on technical issues has helped me with this decision, as I am definetly a novice. Thankyou!
    Cheers,Joy

    Hello,
Just clicked on the Tall Popies link to this web site. I intend on having a thorough look through you site. I have been trying to get a small business off the ground for quite a while now, selling bag kits and patterns, but the finances always seem to get in the way. It is nice to see so many enthusiastic stitchers getting into making beautiful bags Anyway, just a hey there and hello…
