Just a quick one to say that I will be back tomorrow with a proper post - I have been spending the better part of the last two days staring at a too-slow status bar and willing it to go faster. Yes, my new computer arrived yesterday! I was so excited, babbling away to the delivery man. I have the old daggy computer hooked up to the new cool computer and I’m transferring all my documents, photos, MP3s, programs, mail contacts and rules, photoshop brushes and actions, bookmarks, blah blah blah, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. It is taking FOREVER!

I have been keeping busy though, clearing the whole of my computer desk and filing big boring stacks of paper - do I really need to keep all the bank account statements they send me every month? I threw so much out (to the recycling bin) and wondered why it took me so long to get around to it. My desk looks so much bigger without all that crap all over it. And of course with the gorgeous new computer. I just have to finish the file transfers so that I can banish the daggy old computer from my desk - eldest son Sam can’t wait. He will have the old computer in his room, not hooked up to the internet but I will loan him my drawing tablet so that he can draw and write away in his own space.
