sneak peek
I have been SO busy making for the Handmade Market on this Saturday. I am SO going to be more organised and plan my time better for the next market.
There will be over 70 local designers selling a huge range of handcrafted things as well as gourmet food, competitions, lucky door prizes, live music in the courtyard from 3pm, free parking and free entry and of course the chance to see me! I will be there with beaded and button jewellery, handbags, zip purses, art prints and a few other bits and pieces.
Here is a sneak peek of what I have been making for the market. Firstly, I have sewed up a bunch of cute and lovely handbags:
Lots of ribbon and rick rack detail.
Bright and cheery!
Who can resist red and white checks?
I also made a bunch of button rings. A mix of vintage and newer buttons.
There are lots of glass beaded bracelets to choose from:
And of course, the famous button choker necklaces:
Again, with a mix of vintage and newer buttons.
Guaranteed cute.
If you are in Canberra then I would love to see you at the Handmade Market on Saturday. I promise I will be updating my sad and neglected looking website over at www.redinstead.com.au/handmade very soon too. I will be adding whatever doesn’t sell at the market to the store and will keep on making new things.
