Sewing themed lino prints

I am behind in my posting - I completed these a couple of weeks ago actually but I’m only now getting around to chronicling now.Â
I first talked about these in this previous post here and here they are printed and mounted on bright orange paper.

Both of these images were inspired by illustrations from a vintage sewing book - I would like to add to the series with a few more sewing inspired prints.

I do really enjoy the lino carving and printing and the look of the prints. I have to make time to do a few more!Â
I recently got my hands on some of those carving blocks (”eraser” carving) so expect some of those soon too. Check out this flickr group for some amazing and wonderful eraser carving art.
