Patchwork Pictures

Patchwork pictures, originally uploaded by thistletown.

These are patchwork stretched over a frame, from Oshare Koubou (Fashionable Workshop) magazine, 2003.

I have been planning to do something like this for a while now. Inspired by the patchwork cards from Denyse Schmidt Quilts.

Here are some of the Dis-Cards from the above book:
Dis-Cards

What a great way to use up your scraps! The cards above were made by Caro from Split Yarn.

The publishers of the book have put the instructions and pics for how to make the Dis-Cards online so you don’t even need to own the book to get started! It’s just another thing on my HUGE list of projects. :)

Fun projects you have! I am a Denyse Schmidt fan and I thought you may be interested in a sneak peak of her new fabric line “Flea Market Fancy” on my web site http://www.QuiltersBuzz.com
      Happy crafting. Gina
