new sewing!

Yay! I have done some good sewing today. Here are the fruits of my labours - first a fabric pieced belt for me. I like these and I’m going to make a few for the shop. I think this one turned out very nicely:

I also sewed up a library book bag for Jack. He has been wanting me to make him one for ages. He chose the fabric from my stash - and a good choice too, especially for a boy who loves numbers. It’s his birthday on Friday and he is turning 6 - I can’t believe it. I like the red with the graphic black and white:

So - two missions completed today: new sewing and regular blogging! And there’s more in the works.  :)
