more ceramic painting!
Hi! Are you a new or recent visitor to my blog? I hope you stick around and have a bit of a read. To make it easier to keep up to date with new content, please subscribe to my RSS feed. I told you I was gonna do more of this! I think it is officially a New Craft for me - like I didn’t have enough hobbies already! Again, these are done on dollar store or thrifted ceramic items using Pebeo Porcelaine paints.
Okay first up… don’t knock your work onto the floor because it will make you really cranky:
Fine - I didn’t like it anyway. (I have to say that!)
Still on the Christmas present theme, this is a bright and spotty vase, again made with stick-on spots that act as a mask (like a reverse stencil) which are then peeled off and the orange added:
I think these are my favourites for the day - tea for two. I thrifted these mugs from the local Vinnies and they were plain except for the word “TEA” which I thought I could work into a design. I ended up cutting a word bubble from a sticker and used some thin tape to mask off the lines, which I then added dots to. Colours are Agate Orange and a Peridot Green fine pen for the dots.
I am going to get my husband to plant something pretty in this pot:
How did I do it? I just pressed a Heidi Swapp (scrapbooking) mask over the pot and sponged the red on. Here is a pic of the mask:
This is a cute little jug that I did quickly - maybe for Emma?
Cool fun!
Not so fun was Emma vomiting a number of times overnight and then again in the car today. She keeps saying to me “I’m not gonna bomit any more mummy, I’m feeling much better now” while asking for bananas (they are a decent price again!) so I hope it is over with. Poor girl.
