Locally Made Market - tomorrow
Listen up, Canberra readers: Tomorrow RED INSTEAD handmade will be at the Locally Made Market at MOCCA, Manuka Occasional Care. There will be around 20 of the best handmade designers in Canberra there so there should be plenty of lovely things to pick up for your mum for Mother’s Day next weekend. Organised by Kate from Miss Chief Maker who works part time at the centre - she snagged many of the stall holders from the last Handmade and Mathilda’s markets, so you know the quality will be there.
When: Saturday May 2nd, 2009
Location: Manuka Childcare Centre, Flinders Way, Manuka (next to McDonalds).
Time: 9am - 2 pm
Manuka Childcare Centre is a community based childcare centre and this market will help with their fundraising. This market will feature many local designers and producers, from chutneys to children’s clothes! It will be just in time to grab something for mother’s day the following weekend. It’s the first of its kind in the Manuka precinct, and is set to be a fabulous day. Sausage sizzle and coffee will be available. Parking available around the back of the centre and in Manuka shopping centre.
