Jack turns five!

written by Jen on Sunday, March 19, 2006One Comment

On Thursday, my beautiful Jackie boy turned five. He is such a special boy and he makes me so proud. He is funny, loud, clever, sensitive (I could go on) and such a joy to have around. We are having a party with some of his friends next Saturday and we had a small celebration dinner on Thursday night. We had some family members and friends over for dinner - birthday boy’s choice which was “roll ups” (chicken and lettuce, cheese etc rolled up in a tortilla) and it was such a great night. There was such a lot of silliness and loudness which is all very appropriate for a birthday party!

Here is Jack making a wish while cutting his cake…

We told him to cut the cake, close his eyes and make a wish - without telling us what it was. He closed his eyes and loudly proclaimed “I wish… I wish… I wish I was a SUPER BOY!”

I think you’re pretty super already Jackie! Happy Birthday!
