After spending a lot of my creative energy last year trying and learning about art and collage, I really want to concentrate more on sewing for now. I still do, but just lately I have felt the urge to do a little bit of papercrafting.Â
Here is a little WIP I have been working on today - birds on coasters:

I have adhered some blue paper to wooden coaster blanks and I am thinking about cutting these birds out of this thrifted bird book and mod podging them onto the coasters, but I am thinking about using decal transfers instead.Â
I feel a little all over the place with my direction lately. Actually I have felt this for a long time now. I really want to try so many things but I wonder if I ought to specialise and stick with something to really master it. Still trying to work this out…

It must be the time of the year or something like the planets not being aligned……I am feeling exactly the same way at the moment. I have 2 background experiments going on for a layout, my first page of my art journal done (need to do some more as I’m not liking that one), 1/2 a layout done of my husband and so many challenges I want to do!
I could probably add about another 10 things I want to do too.

I was thinking about doing some coasters too. Don’t know what mod podge stuff, I was going to use craft glue and then put varnish over the top…not sure it would work though. Input would be most welcome there.
I dabble in a lot of different things so that I don’t become bored and I have choices and options. I have a brain that needs to keep learning all the time, and hands that need to keep busy. Still haven’t found what my purpose is in life yet.
PS I can relate to you when you are hormonal, you have my sympathy. It gets a hell of a lot worse when we go through the “change” believe it or not.
