My almost daily crafty/sewing blog where I show and tell the things I have made and a little bit of what is happening in my life. I am a hoarder - of inspiration images, fabric, patterns, and crafting books. I live in Australia and I'm a work at home mum to three great kids. My indie boutique is at www.redinstead.com.au where you can see the things I make.

Once I start my homeschool year, I have to shelf the projects until break. It's hard, I know. Your family must need you to work or you wouldn't be doing it. It's a blessing to have useful work, isn't it? I learned to take up knitting because it was more portable than a sewing machine.

Organizing Mommy's last blog post..Works for Me.. Wednesday

Oh, I am with you! Looking for moments to make something I can hold in my hands.
And, for the record, I think blogging in your head counts (I do it all the time). Except I think of it more as an unwritten diary, which is just as real and good as a blog can be.
You'll get back to the doing and the writing eventually, and in the meantime, nurturing ambitious thoughts is a good and healthy thing.

You have moved on with your life now...you have to let go of the past and save all your dreams, ideas and ambitions for when you retire at old age and then hope you have the time then to do all you want to do.
