I made a skirt for me today!

I made a skirt for me today! And I made another one for me yesterday! It has been so long since I have made myself anything. I sew for other people so much that I just never seem to bother doing it for myself. One of my resolutions for this year is to make myself things on a regular basis. YAY!

My new skirt

I am so happy with this. I had Simplicity 4595 but I really only used it as a guide.

Look! You even get to see what I look like! Aren’t you lucky?

And here is a better shot of the fabric - thrifted pillowcases!

Good for you, making yourself something. It looks great! So nice to “see” you. I never seem to get around to making myself something, thank goodness I have the blog to keep a picture of everything before it heads out the door.

That’s so pretty, you are clever -I’ve yet to attempt making clothes.
