I love bright colours

written by Jen on Sunday, March 25, 20074 Comments

Today was the first day without Daylight Savings. I am always so sad when daylight savings finishes - it means the end of Summer evenings, the kids running around naked saying “water me, Dad!” while Paul waters the vegies. I love the long days and the cool that comes after the full sun of the hot day.

Then again, today also marks the beginning of cool nights, warm scarves and woolly hats, and soon enough, colourful autumnal leaves, crunching underfoot and then freezing cold but clear and bright mornings, foggy breath and ice on the windscreen.

Still working on the ceramics. Loving the bright colours.

Loving the black against the bright colours.

I hope you love them too.

I love the mugs! And I am sooooooo jealous of you all who are looking forward to fall. It is my favorite season but we have to endure a long hot nasty summer before we see it again :(

I love the flowery one… it reminds me of a teaset my mom had back in the seventies… you know, those *really* bold colors with those *really* big patterns in other *really* bold colors… it’s looking so retro and I love it for this style!

When I said how do you do them I meant I have not heard of ceramic painting before what is the process. What wonderful individual gifts for family. They are beautiful
