Handmade Market on Saturday

written by Jen on Thursday, May 21, 2009No Comment

Canberra’s Handmade Market is on again this Saturday so make sure you don’t miss out.  I hope to see you at the Albert Hall this Saturday - come along any time from 10am to 4pm.  There’ll be live music in the courtyard, great food and of course Canberra’s best handmade designers.  My business RED INSTEAD handmade will be there and I’ll be looking to clear some of my stock out at reduced prices so come and grab a bargain.

Handmade brings together Canberra’s talented artists, designers, stylists, craftspeople and gourmets all at one destination. It is a unique event to connect the makers of beautiful things to people who appreciate quality, handcrafted and locally designed goods.

To be honest, after this one I think I will be taking a break from markets for a little bit - I need to get my sewjo back.  Make it fun again, and leave the retail and business parts alone for a bit.  I haven’t sewn for myself or my kids in I don’t know how long and I haven’t done any art or scrapbooking in six months.  It’s time to rediscover the fun.  Stay tuned…
