Digital to Analog
Hi! Are you a new or recent visitor to my blog? I hope you stick around and have a bit of a read. To make it easier to keep up to date with new content, please subscribe to my RSS feed. Of course, feedback is always appreciated and leaving a comment is a great way for me to come and check out your site.
I took my digital layout, printed it on my standard home printer (which came out at 8 x 8″) and then sewed two papers together and stuck the digital layout on top. Now I have an analog version of a digital layout, without the need for a large format printer. :)Â
I must say I didn’t think of this myself - I saw it mentioned on a forum somewhere but I think it’s a great compromise. The other (frugal) alternative is to have an 8 x 8″ album for digital layouts. Or just print the digital elements out onto card and use them on paper layouts. So many possibilities!Â
(and by the way it’s not crooked in real life, just tilted in the photo)
I have to do more of these, the kids love them. Jack is SO happy to see himself here.  Oh wow - he iis standing here over my shoulder and just read that previous sentence out aloud! He stumbled on the word “himself” but he knew all the others. I am so proud of him. He loves learning and is really enjoying kindergarten. One more week of holidays and back to school.Â
