Denyse Schmidt puts out a fabric line!

written by Jen on Tuesday, January 24, 20067 Comments

Thanks to Gina at Quilter’s Buzz for the heads up: modern quilter Denyse Schmidt (oh, how we all love her!) is releasing her own fabric line, due out in May. The line will be called “Flea Market Fancy” and will be distributed by Free Spirit who also distributes used to distribute the equally gorgeous Amy Butler fabrics - I think she may give Amy a run for her money!

Here is a sneak peak of Denyse Schmidt’s new fabrics:

Love those fabrics in your picture. Are they ones you own or a picture of the new Schmidt line? I love the brown with orange, pale blue and white dot flowers and the bottom two. Oooh and the dots on white background in the middle. well they’re all great!

Thanks Gina - I actaully saw your earlier post on Amy Butler’s move after I had written this and then couldn’t be bothered updating it! I have now. And Claire, those are Denyse Schmidt’s new line of fabrics - I have edited to make that clearer too. Thanks girls! :)

Jen, aren’t those fabrics great!?! I seriously love each one of them. I’ve got to finish my current quilt project so I can get some of these and start a new one!!!
