Coveting these books…

Hi! Are you a new or recent visitor to my blog? I hope you stick around and have a bit of a read. To make it easier to keep up to date with new content, please subscribe to my RSS feed. Of course, feedback is always appreciated and leaving a comment is a great way for me to come and check out your site.

I keep reading about this quilting book by Denyse Schmidt and now I really want to order a copy for myself! Thanks to Laura at Thimble I found some excerpts from the book online. There are three projects - the cards I keep hearing about, as well as a funky zigzaggy quilt and some Summer slippers. It just so happens that I have been thinking about making some slippers for myself and here they are!

Here is a pic of the book:

While we’re on the subject, here is another book I really would love to get my hands on:

The New Crewel

I am so tempted to get them from Amazon but with Christmas coming up I better sit tight and hint a lot! I think I will see if any book shops around here have them and order in if I have to. Then let someone special know they are waiting there at the bookshop for me… :)

Yey! Always good to see another Canberra blogger! Thanks for visiting my site. I’ve been wanting that Denyse Schmidt for a while too! If you ever find it for sale in the ACT let me know!

I’ve been lusting after this book for months and finally saw the light, did the frugal thing and have filled in an ACT Library Service request to purchase form (http://www.library.act.gov.au/mylibrary/suggest)

      :-)
