ceramics and other craftiness

Okay so I love a good bandwagon to jump on! Here are my soft trees - lots more at this flickr group. Thanks to the free pattern from Stephanie at little birds:

Still on the Christmas crafty theme… here are the stockings I made for Jack and Emma two years ago:

And some more ceramic painting for Christmas presents. This is a little gardening set - we will plant something nice in the pot and there is a matching little red watering can. Emma will miss the little metal watering cans - she has enjoyed playing “ephernants” with them.  That’s elephants to the rest of us.  Don’t you love the imagination?

The words say “adopt the pace of nature” and I did another set with the words “flowers feed the soul”:

Here is another spotty coffee mug set - the dots are red, orange and blue on a lime green background:

The next lot are teeny tiny and will go to Emma to use in dolly tea parties. They are not my favourite but I do like the green dots.

The truth is I got these from a thrift store - the cup and saucer had the words Vittoria plastered over it and the mug had the name of some obscure tourist place. They are so little and cute and I thought that the ceramic paint would cover the words, but alas it did not. The black pen covered it though so that explains the big black flowers:

I’m sure Emma will love them - the kids love anything mummy makes! :)
