Baby Born is sitting pretty

After making Jack’s boy doll a cool new outfit, I thought I better sew something up for Emma’s Baby Born too.

Baby Born Outfit

Actually the little bloomer pants I made ages ago, along with a top that didn’t quite work out but has seen a bit of use anyhow. I decided she needed a cute tshirt instead so I cut up one of Sam’s old school tshirts and made a new top - then added some pink ricrac, a pink felt heart applique and some pink pom pom trim. PINK PINK PINK! :)

Both of these were from doll patterns that I bought a couple of years back from Wolly Online. They make such great patterns - I just went back to the site to make sure the company is still around and… oops! I accidentally ordered another three patterns.

I am ignoring the nagging little voice inside that is reminding me about my New Year’s Resolutions. ahem.

Anyway it has got me thinking… when I first bought these patterns, I had plans to make up some outfits and sell them on eBay. It still seems like a good idea so I think I might just do that.

cos I need more projects. yeah.

In fact, it will probably be Etsy. People, write in and tell me good and bad stories about Etsy! :)
