anybody out there?

It’s been so long since I have written a blog. I did my last entry just before my first baby was born and he is 4 1/2 now! It is going to be a good challenge to take some photos and document some things of interest. Of course, it’s hard right now when I know that I am just mumbling away in the quiet over here in the corner while the rest of the internet rumbles by. If anybody is reading this then please say hello by leaving me a comment. It will make my day!
This site is only quite new so I don’t think many people even know it is here yet. My old site (trashed.org) was around for so many years that it was linked from loads of places and it is funny to feel kinda anonymous again.
I don’t read that many blogs regularly, but I used to and I think I may enjoy being sucked back in to that world. I have listed some of my faves over there on the right.
I mostly find great blogs and sites via links from other places or by happy accident when googling something. Like if you put “gocco” into the google images site then you can find lots of cards and things that people have made and then go from there to their blog.
I do love the crafty blogs though I must say. I love how there are so many photos of fabrics and works in progress and swaps and completed craftiness! That’s what I hope to do here. My problem is that sometimes I would just rather dream up ideas and projects and research them and read up on them and take a long time to actually get around to doing them!
So hopefully this will keep me a bit more disciplined!
Oh yeah, and the reason I have been putting “gocco” into google? I just got one! I bought it off eBay and it came yesterday. I worked on some artwork last night and thought it was great but it wasn’t that suitable for use, because some of the elements were just too close together. I need to do a bit more practice I think!
I will post some pics soon of my first attempts anyhow!

Great site you have here. I love the simple layout and color scheme. I just have to say I love your purses. They are amazing. I am going to have to go through them all later.

i read! i read! i’m behind but i do check in every once in awhile…;)
yay! you got a gocco! have fun and don’t forget to check out the gocco group on flcikr…they are ridiculously talented. i can only manage one image, one color, one print but still, i like to look.
