On the left side, I sewed a gocco print from a couple of weeks ago onto card - it was easy and fun! And on the right side I drew a quick flower (to remind me to do a cut paper collage of a flower soon) and then wrote some words about my new art journal and what it means to me and how excited I am to be starting this fun journey.

Oooh great job sewing on paper!! I tried that once with the Sew Mini which was supposedly specifically for sewing on paper and it was a mess. One day I’ll own a REAL sewing machine and then I’ll happily run all kinds of dead trees through it
