ACTION!

written by Jen on Monday, March 12, 2007One Comment

Yes, yes I know I haven’t written in this lil blog in a while - I really wish someone would make a system that would just transfer the blog posts that I compose in my head some days (while doing menial things or daydreaming) and just upload them for me.  If that system was in place then this blog would get updated a lot more.

So here goes - I am pledging to write a blog entry every day for the next 21 days!  Any other slack bloggers gonna pledge with me? I have read that it takes 21 days to form a habit so this is my way of forcing the issue for myself.  Honestly, I am just a wee bit lazy some days.  On my slow computer, it just seems like an annoyance sometimes.

fabric

While I am at it, I am realising (okay, I am admitting - in public no less) that I have a fabric problem.  I love prints and patterns SO much and I love to buy them and look at them all stacked up neatly on their little shelves here in my craft room - but for some stupid reason it seems that I am loathe to actually USE them!  What is this?  Was I a child of the great depression in a former life, forced to stockpile everything in the face of dwindling supplies?  I wonder what it is that makes me think this way - but in the end, action is required not just analysing.

fabric stacks

So I also pledge to use up my beautiful fabric and to get going and make all the projects that I have been saving and snipping and dreaming about but somehow not actually doing.

Right, got that out of the way…  ACTION!

ps.  Just so you know I am serious, I have actually been working on a nice little project - photos soon.  :)
