My almost daily crafty/sewing blog where I show and tell the things I have made and a little bit of what is happening in my life. I am a hoarder - of inspiration images, fabric, patterns, and crafting books. I live in Australia and I'm a work at home mum to three great kids. My indie boutique is at www.redinstead.com.au where you can see the things I make.

<!--%kramer-ref-pre%-->[...] browsing through some of my favoured blogs (i need to keep up - i´m weeks behind it seems) i stumbled over some very, very true words over at artful jens blog.she made a piece of art to remind us of some things we all sometimes seem to forget (or, in my case, simply ignore them *grin*).hope she doesn´t mind me quoting the words of her manifesto to pronounce on it (don´t take it too serious, though!):* get organizedwell, my sewing room is a mess. i tidy up from time to time, but one week (or one projekt) later it looks just like before. i always seek something. be it the one and only right button i know i have had or the pattern i put aside to sew it "some time later" or my scissors. i always loose them.* tidy up your messuhm. i´m a chaotic person. i wipe off the table with my hand. what falls down is going to the trash. then i take other things i used and put them from my cutting to my writing table. from there they´re transported to the floor, when i need to write something...* use what you havegoddamn! call me the natural born shopper. seeing something means wanting it. not that i neccessarily buy it, but there always will be "the other" fabric i need for the project i want to make. and mostly it´s not the fabric i have handy.okay, i´m trying to get over this the last weeks.* sell the excessO.Osell? my? fabrics? never-ever!you want them? you´ll need take them out of my cold hands after you rolled my dead body away from it.* finish what you startexcept from that blouse, the hand-appliqué for dsis, the bra ... everything´s finished (or will be finished in the nearer future). ...* put your plans into actionhardest part. there are so many plans, and so little time!i have to admit that there´s sometimes hardly time to make the neccessary... so often "great" plans are postponded-postponded-postponed... and finally are not realised.you see, i´m a BAD human being. how about you?do you have issues with those points or are you an angel-like role model for us all?very-merry:me and my inner madhatter ;) [...]<!--%kramer-ref-post%-->
