How gorgeous are these dolls by Claire from loobylu - I love their sweet little faces. I think that if you put a little dress on a handmade toy then it instantly makes it about 100 times cuter! Not to mention stripey stockings.

These are just part of the morphe toy exhibition photoset at flickr.

There are loads more beautiful dolls and toys so go have a look!

Illustration Friday - SURPRISE

Once you pop you just can’t stop! Now that I have got going with the blog again I suddenly have lots to say!

Here is my submission for Illustration Friday where the topic this week is SURPRISE. I have missed a few weeks but I thought I had better get this in before the week runs out again.

Illustration Friday - SURPRISE

It is a (hopefully) pleasing arrangement of a few elements for the Silly Season. I keep having good ideas for the topic and then remembering that I can’t actually draw very well so the execution is a little frustrating!

Last Christmas there was a beautiful surprise in my family. After a few months of some strange and unexplained gynocological symptoms (and a bloated tummy!) my sister discovered on Christmas Eve that she was around 3 months pregnant.

She had recently started going out with my husband’s brother and all of a sudden they were to be parents within 6 months! Now they have a beautiful Baby Grace and she is my double niece! Yes, that’s two brothers with two sisters. :)

Fabric Patchwork

I haven’t used the “Blog This” thingie at flickr yet as I’m still getting used to the way it all works but I am giving it a go now!

This “fabric faves” pic was created by Kath from red current. She has used this Mosaic Maker to create a beautiful new image.
